Je suis la roller girl
I would gladly take that corset/dress please and thank you. As well as the ability to wear red stockings well.
Also see Roller Girl which I cannot embed, for some serious socks and dance moves, early Harry Potter glasses, and a strangely addictive song.

Spellbound
photos from Ellen Von Unwerth, Grimm's Fairy Tales and Buffy
One of my old favorite Halloween costumes and fairy tales(I love my red cape!), with some songs that are reminiscent of the day.

It was all colors and heat
I haven't been into music, well mostly finding new music (I'm lazy) in a long while. But I really like this song by Alexander Ebert, and the rest of the album, "Alexander" seems pretty good so far too!

Whistle while you work
Nice songs to listening to while driving, working, procrastinating (a full time job) or anytime, really! They also both happen to be from bands that start with the letter "T," so...10 points!

"I'm here because I was in the comic book."

I used to collect the "Josie and the Pussycats" comics, and watch the show all the time! I also have a great love for the 2001 movie and soundtrack, that only seems to grow stronger as I get older. Everyone is so quotable, and it doesn't help that I (not so) secretly covet their hair and wardrobe...

It ain't me babe
This is one of my favorite songs! I enjoy all versions, as they are each a unique take on the song, but must confess to listening to the first and last covers the most. I love the harmonies it gains when sung by a couple, in particular those two (four?).

Oh Boy
She & Him – Oh Boy (Buddy Holly Cover) by gio_olguin
Oh, and She and Him covered "Oh Boy" on the new Buddy Holly Tribute album. The original is one of those songs that always gets into my head out of nowhere so its nice to have a slight variation available to keep things interesting, haha.

Out by the box car waiting
This song is always good for summer!
I set my office up outside today, to edit wedding photos that I took the other day, and work on a few illustration commissions. Everything is less stressful when it can be done outdoors (with lemonade!) and when the mosquitoes aren't crazy of course. Good day. I hope that your weekend is going well!

Son of Schmilsson
While most of my music was deleted in a tragic external hard drive accident (RIP 6 years of music!) I was happy to find that this song was still intact. I didn't listen to most of that music anymore, but it was just nice to know that it was there. Its now hard to ignore the fact that my musical tastes aren't very advanced, as I retrieve and listen to the same few albums and cheesy songs on repeat, haha. Anyways, this song is an old favorite that I always come back to. I love how simple and poignant and...happy it is, in an odd way. I was hoping to find a performance or actual video of the song, because I think that would be enjoyable, but I hope you enjoy it all the same!

I'd go the whole wide world
I love Wreckless Eric! Whole Wide World is just one of the nicest songs, that I never seem to get sick of. I love that he is still playing music these days too!

Mr. Blue Sky
This is one of my favorite Springtime songs! The weather has been pretty nice lately. I've been pretty busy with some projects that are keeping me indoors more often than not, but soon I might be able to leave my desk for longer than 10 minutes at a time and enjoy it. Even though I usually rebel against time changes due to stubbornness, its been nice having the light come through my window for so much longer each day.

All The Letters That I Have Never Sent

You're Wearing Cardigans!
I've also been spending a lot of time listening to Jango, which is amazing! It lets you create "stations" based around certain artists that you like, finding similar musicians and songs for you, then playing them nonstop. It's perfect for me as I am so indecisive when it comes to choosing what I want to listen to, and hate having to stop to change music in the middle of working on something.
