Fall Style Inspiration: From The Movies

When it comes to covet worthy style, there are a select few film stills that fill up my desktop's 'Inspiration' folder. They may seem like odd choices movie wise, but the characters are so well styled that they have stuck with me and always seem to be in the back of my mind while editing my wardrobe and general style. With the exception of one or two Summer months when I go a bit Country Strong, my top favourites lend themselves well to Fall and Winter dressing, so I thought I'd share.

Three Little Fishies

"Lay Down Lean" from Maximilla Lukacs on Vimeo.

Here are some videos that I always love to watch in the Spring (or any time, really!) for inspiration. As you know, "Wendybird" is my very favourite, as I posted it last year. I just couldn't help sharing it again though!
Also, I love being reminded of this song by the first video.

My computer is officially dead, but I'm going to try to post things whenever I get the chance!

Time's a Wastin

I think that I've always taken a lot of inspiration from 1960's and 1970's country stars, and those who emulate them well. I love the dark hair with curls and extra girly dresses that they always had occasion to wear. Riding boots are another favorite of mine, along with a bit of plaid, two things that I find myself wearing all the time in the Fall and Winter. They always had the best sundresses too, which makes me excited for Summer!
