Three Little Fishies

"Lay Down Lean" from Maximilla Lukacs on Vimeo.

Here are some videos that I always love to watch in the Spring (or any time, really!) for inspiration. As you know, "Wendybird" is my very favourite, as I posted it last year. I just couldn't help sharing it again though!
Also, I love being reminded of this song by the first video.

My computer is officially dead, but I'm going to try to post things whenever I get the chance!

Rabbit

All holidays should be Tim Walker holidays! Every day should be like this, actually. Hope you're having a good day!

Love is the province of the brave

Gerard Smith, TV On The Radio's bassist, died of Lung Cancer today. It's so sad to hear. These guys are so talented, and I will always love "Return to Cookie Mountain" amongst their other albums.

I cannot do the smurf

Just a few things from April so far:
Wind! So much wind.

New "Albatross" dress from Birds of North America
Perfect ballet shoes found on Ebay!
Peanut butter cookies made from this recipe.
I've been a bit obsessed with reading this book...or at least looking at the pictures, since giving it as a gift to my mum a couple of years ago. Everything just looks so good! I've made a couple of the cupcakes and muffins too, and they always turn out awesome.

I'd go the whole wide world

I love Wreckless Eric! Whole Wide World is just one of the nicest songs, that I never seem to get sick of. I love that he is still playing music these days too!

I couldn't hear anything!

I think about this every time that I see a cat....or not, as I tend to find myself reciting it out of nowhere on a daily basis. So quotable!

You and I got caught between magic and business

Today I am organizing for taxes and other boring things while listening to music as a distraction. I listened to Jenny and Johnny a bit when their album first came out at the end of last summer, but I just knew that I would be more into it when Spring and Summer was really happening again. And I was right, because its kind of perfect for this time of year. I don't know that I like it as much as Jenny Lewis' solo work, or Rilo Kiley, but these things have a tendency to grow on me. 'You Showed Me' always reminds me of Spring and Summer. And 'Jolene' is just so fun that its always in my head, so I thought I'd leave that here!
